Hello, World

This first post exists to exercise the pipeline end to end. It is authored in Quarto, rendered to GitHub-Flavored Markdown, and served by Astro with the site’s own layout and styling.

Citations

Literate programming was popularized by Knuth (Knuth 1984), and Quarto resolves BibTeX keys into the rendered text with a reference list at the end.

Tables

Table 1 is numbered and captioned automatically by Quarto’s cross-reference system.

Math

Inline math such as E=mc2E = mc^2 renders via KaTeX, as does display math:
